Reviews and Ratings
The hotel could use some updates as the rooms felt a bit dated and there were a couple of spiders that I wish the cleaning staff would take care of. It was also a bit cold in the room during my stay, which wasn't ideal.
My stay at the hotel was a nice experience overall. The rooms were old-fashioned but satisfactory, although smaller than expected from the pictures. The service was excellent, especially from the attentive and polite staff member Katrine. The location was amazing, within walking distance to all the attractions, but it could get a bit crowded in the morning. The dining experience was lovely, and the homemade bread was a standout. The facilities met my needs during the stay.
I found the hotel to have a great location, close to the train station and accessible to main streets downtown. The rooms were spacious but had a smoking smell. The service was friendly and helpful, although there was some noise from cleaning nearby. The dining experience was altered due to a festival in the city. Overall, a convenient location but with room for improvement in room conditions and dining arrangements.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was perfect, just a short stroll away from the bustling city center and shopping areas. The staff was a bit mixed in their service, with some being friendly while others charged extra without much explanation. The dining experience was quite good, offering a variety of options throughout the day. However, the rooms needed some maintenance as I encountered a couple of spiders, and the pricing seemed a bit high for the standard provided.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were clean and nice, but being by the street made it a bit noisy, and the room was too warm for my liking. The service was top-notch with incredibly helpful and pleasant staff, especially Line, Stig, and Jesper, who even went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable by sharing some history of the hotel. The location was convenient, within walking distance of the train station and downtown streets, but unfortunately, the broken cots in the room were a downside. The dining experience was rich in choices, although at times too crowded with limited space. The hotel facilities were satisfactory, although some improvements could be made.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of pros and cons. The rooms were tiny, including the shower, but had a comfortable bed and chairs. The room was exceptionally warm, with too much heat for my liking. The service was lovely, with the staff being reasonably helpful, especially Line, Stig, and Jesper. The location was excellent, closer than the Windsor and Strafe, and I enjoyed walking around Odense without any worries. However, the dining experience was not the best, with cooked food missing salt and pepper, and the teatime area being too crowded with missing plates and cups. The hotel facilities were decent overall, despite a few minor issues.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were nicely decorated in a stylish and elegant way, but unfortunately, the noise from the heating element made it impossible to stay comfortably. On the plus side, the room was prepared nicely with a baby bed, but it was very small and poorly lit, requiring us to separate the large bed into twins.
The hotel offers nicely decorated rooms with vintage Danish furniture in a stylish and elegant way, although they are a bit on the small side. My stay included finding myself in a room with a bed for 2 and 2 broken camping beds, fortunately big enough for a family of 4 traveling for 6 weeks. The service was professional, positive, and helpful, despite knowing about the smell issues present. The location is excellent, just a short stroll from the pedestrian and shopping areas, close to the train station, and easily accessible to downtown streets. The dining experience was good, complete with everything one may desire, ranging from nice bread and fresh fruit to pancakes, although the breakfast time was changed due to an event in Odense. The facilities were satisfactory, though it must be noted that some issues, like the heating noise and broken cots, were present.
The hotel is centrally located in Odense, making it perfect for exploring the city on foot. The rooms, while dated, are sufficient although there was a faint smell possibly from the bathroom. The service staff were excellent and polite, catering to every need. The dining options were quite good, offering a range of delicious dishes. Overall, the hotel could benefit from an update but provides a decent stay with friendly service.
The hotel offers a comfortable stay close to everything you need but has some noise issues. The staff is friendly and helpful, but there are concerns about safety. The dining options are varied but not exceptional. The location is convenient with easy parking.
